Question for those with 2 moms

I want to write a character that has 2 moms but I’m not sure on how they should be referred to as (like do I write mom & mother?) or how to describe their relationship with the child (honestly I just don’t want to accidentally write something that’s offensive and sorry if this post offends anyone.)
