Macbook Air M1 for long term

Broke bitch here trying to get a Mac. I’m going to use it for extensive research, writing papers, and entertainment like netflix.

I got a good deal for a Macbook Air M1 2020 8/256 for $460.

Do you guys think it’s worth-it? Would it last me a long time?
