Took a while to dig this article up. The Top 10 Creatures in the game, at the time. (Inquest, circa 1998)

I think the article was more or less spot-on, but I’d probably include BoP somewhere in there.

Interestingly, in under a year we would see the likes of Masticore, Morphling, Goblin Welder, Metalworker, and Academy Rector pop up. All of which, just by raw power alone, would easily qualify.
