First batch ever is done

Hello dear mead makers, I just wanted to share my first product to you all! I started this batch back in late November. At first I wanted to just make a simple mead with nothing more than water and honey, but it turned out so dry I had to back sweeten it with strawberry and caramel siraps and it turned out fantastic!

Bellow you can find the recipe for my product.

3.5l water 1.2 l honey 5 g Lavin D-47 yeast 1,3g Fermaid 0,9g DAP OG 1.098 FG 0.98 ABV ~15%

Fermenting ~7-9 weeks (I wanted to make sure it was done before I got to back sweetening)

Stabilized with e202 and e224 (Can't remember exact measurements)

Waited for a week for it to settle in secondary carboy and started back sweetening

For strawberry mead I used 5.5ml Monin Strawberry Sirap to every 100ml mead (105.5ml total)

For caramel mead I used 4.5ml Monin Salted Caramel Sirap to every 100ml mead (104.5ml total)

Racked in 125ml smaller bottles as gifts (testers) for friends. 500ml bigger bottles for me, my parents and my brother

Still got around 2l mead to experiment with, add other ingredients for different tastes.
