Modern productions, but with a doo-wop/50s instrumentation and feel?

Hi guys, noob here. I'm about to mix a song with doo-wop influences, but I'm out of my element, since I usually mix metal and some rock. I am looking for some references and I found GNR's "Since I don't have you", but it's a bit too powerful, I'm going for the gentler side of the style. Could you please recommend some modern productions in this style?
