With Pete Carroll joining the Raiders in 2025, the record for the highest combined age between two Head Coaches in the same game will likely be broken
The previous record was set back in 2020 when a 69-Year Old Pete Carroll faced off against a 68-Year Old Bill Belichick for a combined age of 137 Years and 162 Days old.
Now Pete Carroll enters the 2025 Season at age 73 and will turn 74 midway through September. Barring retirement, Andy Reid will enter the 2025 Season as a 67-Year Old Coach. Depending on the timing of the game, the combined age will either be 140 or 141, breaking the previous mark handily.
And if Pete and Andy keep it up for a few more seasons, they could likely put the record far out of reach. Especially with the league generally shift towards young coaches.
