Question about Graduate Stipend for Physics Students

Hi everyone,

I’m currently applying to Ohio University for the Nuclear Physics program, and I’m curious about the graduate stipend for physics students. I’ve heard that stipend amounts can vary between departments, and I was hoping to get some insight from current or former students in the Physics Department.

Could anyone share their experience with the stipend package? Specifically, I’d like to know about the funding situation, any teaching or research assistantships, and if the stipend is generally enough to cover living expenses in Athens, OH.
