Caulking garage door panel questions

Hello! I got a wood garage door installed not too long ago and wanted to paint the interior. Just wanted to double check a few things including where to caulk and what type of caulk before I paint over it?

I have DAP painters acrylic latex caulk at home.

I am quite the novice when it comes to painting and home repairs. Any extra tips appreciated if you have any.
