is minions good now?

i want to play a chill/but fast clear minion build to spend rest of the time until new chars arrive. But there was some bad feedbacks from community regarding minion QoL. wanted to ask how is the situation of it now? i want a chill experience and not to get annoyed bcs lack of QoL
