April Brewer
I received my April brewer today and gave it a try with a home-roasted coffee (medium-light roast).
Here’s what I used: • Grinder: ZP6, setting 4 • Water: Off the boil • Filter: Kalita 155 • Coffee: Medium-light roast, roasted on 11/16 (might still be a bit fresh)
I followed April’s standard 12g/200ml recipe, with a total brew time of 2:30. While it wasn’t particularly bitter, the cup had very high acidity, leaving me wondering if it might have been over-extracted.
Do you have any suggestions for adjusting the recipe? Any grind settings or tweaks you’ve found that work well with the April brewer?
