Drink Package Sales

My boyfriend and I have 2 cruises booked for Symphony for next year. One in June and one in September. The June cruise we notice will get sales on internet and drink packages every once in a while (for instance the Independence Day sale). The September cruise has had no sales at all. Is this common due to one being less than a year away and the other being more than a year away? Would we normally start seeing sales on the September cruise as it gets closer? I’m hoping to see a price drop for Black Friday.
