Meal Prep

I just read a post here saying you can make a weeks worth of food and leave it in the sealed container and heat it up as you need. So if I needed to let's say make chicken breast for the week I could make them all on Sunday and just open the sealed bags to use them as needed throughout the week? Is there any weird after taste from the container/juices left in the bags?

Can I also do this with any vacuum sealer? I have an Amazon one. Sometimes after cooking it feels like there is a tiny bit of air in the bags which I assume is from meat shrinking.

I've only ever had non cooked bags sealed and frozen throughout the week and then sous vide them as needed but that takes a while daily from frozen. So wondering if the other way around would work better for day to day.

Thanks!
