How do I get the final splatfest items and banner?

I'm looking on the news app on my Switch and it's not showing up for me?

I updated my game already and my switch is also up to date. I am connected to the internet. Am I missing something? Am I going insane??

Does anyone else have this issue or know a solution? :(
