Starting pistol and AK reticles

Has anyone found a way to stash the starting pistol? Mines tagged as a quest item... And i dont want to use it anymore, but skifs shoulders are hella weak so I want to stash it.... Also has anyone found a way to get a sight on the AKM-74S? I just want a red dot but the collimator is incompatible? But fits the AKM-74U? Am i missing something (i dont want the pso scope)
