baristas- how do you guys pour your cinnamon in the shakers?

Was on a cleanplay shift yesterday and decided to fill up the shakers. it literally always gets everywhere and is such a pain in the butt. I just pour it in a short cup and then pour it in the shaker. Is there any specific way u guys do it?
