Should I upgrade Ram for DS723+?

I just replaced my DS216j for a DS723+ and I can see a bust in performance. Anyway it comes with only 2GB Ram. Does it make sense to do an upgrade to maybe 16gb? I see people upgrading to 32gb but I don’t know what are the scenarios where you need 32gb ram in your NAS. If someone can guide me I would really appreciate.
