Should I get bangs?

Okay, so, I really want to get bangs (the wispy kind), but I'm not sure how it will look on my face shape, does anybody have any advice? I'm also open to any information about how to style bangs, or hair styles that might fit me better :)

For some extra information, my hair is kind of thick, it might be hard to see on the picture tho. Is thick hair with wispy bangs a bad idea?
