Where does everyone get stuff from?

In the pilot, Jax mentioned placing a centipede in Ragatha's room. Where did he find a centipede? In episode 3, they are playing with baseball gear in the circus. Also, where do they get paper and pens to write suggestions? In the haunted house, where did Ragatha get a rope from to tie Jax up with? Some of this can be explained by the circus having this stuff by default, but sometimes it's just strange. Is Caine providing them with stuff on request?
