Stephin’s Loop Songs

Offhand, can anyone name the five or six loop songs on “69 Love Songs?”

At the John Anson Ford Theatre, he talked about his “loops songs” At a show that was an interview/performance about the “69 Love Songs” 25th anniversary.

He said he coined the term “loop song” to name songs that repeat the same chord progression throughout. Many current pop songs use only one chord progression for the verse, chorus, everything. I’d never heard of them called loop songs.

I’d like to make a playlist of the loop songs from the 69 songs on “69 Love Songs.”
