Was the $200 promotion meant to cover a cancelation fee from other carriers? Or is that separate?

I am doing the free trial and it is working really well for me. I plan to quit comcast but I am on contract for another year. Will Tmobile cover the early termination fee? Or is that what the $200 promotion is meant to do?
