Can you reduce wheel clipping/wheels 'deflating'

I've built a sick dirt bike and it works really well- or actually WOULD work really well if the front wheel doesn't keep clipping into the ground, and then jumping upwards or jumpily prolling backward all because the metal rim touched the ground even though there's hardly any weight on the front... Can this be stopped in any way? Also it seems to be worse on dirt but it still does the same thing on other surfaces but the effects aren't as bad
