Will CBP send me to secondary again?

I was pulled into secondary by CBP on my last trip to the US in YYZ because I mispoke to the CBP officer and said i'm entering for work when it was a business trip (business/work were the same in my mind at the time). I eventually was let in after a stint in the secondary inspection room (which was my first).

I plan to visit the US again in mid January for a 4 month trip. It's a mix of an extended holiday & attending some conferences that interest me (i'm on sabbatical).

Is there a high chance I will be pulled into a secondary inspection again? I don't want to live or work in the US & it's mostly to avoid the cold winter in Canada.
