Blizzard, please reconsider—this hurts.

Blizzard, please reconsider—this hurts.

I have played Marksmanship Hunter for almost 20 years. Through all the changes, one thing has remained constant: my bond with my pet. Being able to explore Azeroth with my loyal companion has been an integral part of my experience.

Now, you are forcing a choice upon us—a choice that strips away part of what makes a Hunter a Hunter. It is not just about gameplay; it is about identity, history, and connection.

For nearly two decades, my Hyena, Wrex, has stood by my side. Together, we faced the Lich King. We survived as Deathwing reshaped the world. We've fought, struggled, and triumphed through every expansion. And now, Blizzard is telling me that we can no longer fight together.

That is not just a design decision. That is a betrayal of the bond between a Hunter and their pet.

Please, Blizzard. Give us the choice. Let those who want a pet-free experience have it, but do not take away the bond that many of us have cherished for years. This change makes me question my excitement for the next patch and even the future of the game itself.

Hunters have always been about companionship. Do not take that away from us.
