i know this topic is about the second movie but

i think the reason vanellope and shank have almost the same racing skill is probably because of vanellope's racing experience, since we do not know what year slaughter race was released, we do not know how many years shank has in racing experience,

but if we were to compare other sugar rush racers to shank's crew, i would definitely say that taffyta is the closest to matching their racing skill, 21 years of racing experience and something else,
