My novel being boring?

Just wanting some insight or even hindsight in what fellow writers have done about their writing pace but importantly event placement.

I’m now 60,000 words in and I’m conscious that even though I like my events and they seem well situated through out my writing are they ‘big’ enough or enticing enough to read.

What methods have people used to work this out?

Story board of events? But I feel they are well spaced but are they eventful enough?
