I get a notification that a girl liked my profile, but once I open the app i don't see an extra like.

So, Badoo gives me a notification that "a girl liked your profile". In the notification i can also see a blurry picture of her.
But once i actually open the app, i don't see the like. It has happened 4-5 times already.
Anyone else experience this? Or do you guys know why that is? Is it Badoo just spamming me fake likes to get me engage with the app?
