The “Rookery," also known as the Trepagnier House, located near Norco in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. This circa 1779 plantation home was abandoned by 1938 and occupied by squatters at the time this photograph was taken by Frances Benjamin Johnston. Demolished in the 1950s.
