My LO stopped sucking tumb at about 11 months old when she started having teeth. I assume it's cause she started biting herself unwillingly and she just stopped. Her sleep was worse ever since too, but then it got better. She's still waking up a few times a night but it's not every hour or staying up for long periods of time.

It's good to know it will improve even if it's slow. I'll keep trying to nurse in bed and see if he takes to it. I think he just really likes the nursing pillow 🤣

You are not alone! I am so glad you posted because I was feeling alone, too. My parents are willing and excited to babysit, but don't make an effort to get to know the baby. When they do see him I am always the one that has to initiate and they don't really interact much or get down to play with him on his level. So he ends up just crying like he's with a stranger. Breaks my heart 💔.
